Who Was Grant Blodgett?
Grant Blodgett, 17, of The Woodlands, Texas, died on May 5, 2022, at the age of 17. Grant was born in Nashville, Tennessee on May 25, 2004, and relocated to The Woodlands, Texas with his parents in 2008.
Grant went to The Woodlands High School, where he was a football player who also enjoyed writing and debating. Grant intended to pursue a degree in history after high school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
His long-term goal was to work as a teacher.
Grant is survived by his parents, Greg Blodgett and Audrey Biddy, his siblings, Jordan and Greg Witkop, and his extended relatives across the United States.
Grant’s memorial ceremony will be placed at Forest Park – The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, on Friday, May 13, 2022. It will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Grant Blodgett was the son of Greg Blodgett and Audrey Biddy. He will be greatly missed by his parents. Grant Cousin, Katie Vickers, paid him a homage and mentioned that he was gone too soon.
He wrote, “Grant was a biological cousin on my father’s side. Even though we didn’t grow up together, he was a joy to be around when I met him and spent time with him on a family vacation.”
Along with him his girlfriend, Irene also passed from a drug overdose.
