Nene said she had a history of getting arrested 7 times but for the audience, Marlo’s arrest seemed unusual and people started searching for the backstory. Twitter and other social media platforms had people discussing what might be the possibilities.

In the meantime, a news portal came up with the news that Hampton was put behind the bars in 1999 for disfiguring her friend’s face over an argument. It was revealed that she was fighting for a man.

Hampton was released the same day on a $5000 bond and later served 4 months in jail for her deeds. This went on to be quite viral and she herself stepped in to defend her action where she claims that back then, carrying a weapon was not a big deal, especially in the kind of environment she grew up in.
