Hailie Deegan is an American professional racing driver who drives for David Gilliland Racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series full-time. Before transferring to Ford Racing Development, the 19-year-old prodigy was a Toyota Racing Development driver. Hailie began her racing career on dirt and off-road before switching to asphalt in 2016 to pursue a future in stock car racing.
Her, father, Brian Deegan is a well-known motocross rider. Deegan Sr is a Nebraska native and pursued a pro supercross career with Team Moto XXX when he was 17. A few years later, in 1997, he won the 125cc main race and popularized Freestyle Motocross racing. It is also worth mentioning that he was the first rider ever to land a Mulisha Twist in competition; this move is primarily a twisting backflip 360 on a motocross bike.
Marissa Deegan also co-owned motorcycle dealership Deegan Motosports with her husband. The shop is located in Temecula, California. She married Brian Deegan in 2003 and they have three children together.
Her two sons Haiden and Hudson Deegan are also racing prodigies who started competing in motocross at young ages.
