American Idol Top 24 2023 list was released in the tenth episode. The episode revealed that this season will have a Top 26 rather than a Top 24.

American Idol Filming Location

American Idol filming location is in Las Vegas, Nevada, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Nashville, Tennessee. Filming is split between these three cities.

The first six episodes were split between these three locations due to them also being audition locations. In Las Vegas, the venue was at the Waldorf Astoria, in New Orleans, the venue was at the Four Seasons Hotel, and in Nashville, the venue was at Kimpton Aerston Hotel.

The seventh and eighth episode, known collectively as Hollywood Week, was filmed at the Los Angeles Theatre in the city of the same name. Here, contestants who passed the auditions would show off their singing chops.
